Roots of disc golf at Konopiště go back to year 2013, when the first Konopiště Open was played. Since then there were many more, starting from the finals of local HrajDiscgolf Tour, through a PDGA Major in 2018 and ending with the European Disc Golf Championships in 2021.

The first PDGA B event in the Czech Republic. We always believed that the Konopiště castle park has a ton of potential, so we kept pushing Konopiště Open forward every year. Tournament results are here, video is here.
May 2016
New year, new tour. DGWT was a world-wide tour of the most prestigious disc golf events. It had two main goals: to finally truly spread disc golf through media, and to grow it everywhere, including new markets like the Czech Republic. Event results are here, one of the event vids is here.
May 2017
DGWT continues and the Konopiště Open does too. World’s best players came to Konopiště, including Paul McBeth, Simon Lizotte, Ricky Wysocki and Nate Sexton. Event results are here, event coverage is here.
August 2021
After a two year break, the chains rang through the Konopiště castle park yet again in August 2021. The Joint European Disc Golf Championships for the main divisions, as well as Juniors and Masters, lured the best players from 26 European countries making it the most international event ever.
