And what a great read it was. Perfect temperatures, moderate wind and little bit of thunder to spice it up a notch. But let’s start at the beginning.
After weeks of preparations, the iconic Konopiště Open temporary course was ready. The stage was set. And the players made it very clear that they loved it very much. Both eventual winners of the event – Niklas Anttila and Rachel Turton were in the lead or very close to it since round 1. They managed to keep their eyes on the prize and put together 3 solid rounds. Anttila won by a whopping margin of 8 strokes over Daniel Davidsson (2nd place) and 2 more strokes over Jakub Semerád and Hjalmar Fredriksson (tied for 3rd place). Turton won by 3 over Sofie Björlycke and Kaidi Allsalu which were tied for 2nd place.
