We are well aware of the fact that the Konopiště Open si a true household name among the premiere international disc golf events. It is on the bucket list of many disc golfers all around the world. In 2021, when we held the 2021 EDGF European Disc Golf Championships, we thought that it was going to be the last disc golf event at the Konopiště Castle Park. A good-bye. But then something changed. All the participants and fans were so enthusiastic and happy that we decided to continue with the tradition. Konopiště enchanted us all over again and the Konopiště Open came back as a PDGA EuroTour event.
In May 2025, we are going to come back one more time. This time as the very first Disc Golf Pro Tour event in the Czech Republic. The best disc golfers in Europe and the world will get another chance to battle for glory in the fairy tale atmosphere of the Konopiště castle park. Ancient trees, freshly-mowed fairways, leaves rustling, discs swooshing and chains ringing. Every disc golfer’s dream.
The DGPT event is going to take place at the Konopiště castle park as a three-day event with golf start, from May 23rd to 25th, 2025. Max. capacity is 160 players and the registration is held at Disc Golf Scene.
